TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PURCHASING THROUGH THIS WEBSITE

By ordering through this website, you agree to the Terms and Conditions (T&C’s) set out below. You must tick the box stating that you have read the T&C’s and accept them before checking out. Your statutory rights to the Consumer Guarantees Act are not affected. For the avoidance of doubt, the term “you” or “your” refers to The Customer and the term “us”, “we” or “our” refers to Joblin Holdings Ltd.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS & PRICING
Every care is taken to ensure the accuracy of the product descriptions, but where sizing is critical please allow a discrepancy of +/- 10mm on all dimensions. This is because we are dealing with an organic product and dimensions may alter in certain ambient humidity conditions. The photos of our items capture the colour in the best way we possibly can but this may not be accurately represented on your monitor, depending on your settings. Please request a finished timber sample via our contact page if you are unsure of colour matching.
Prices do vary with different promotions, but the price you pay will be the price shown at the time of ordering. We don’t ask you for more if the price subsequently increases, so please don’t ask to be charged less if it goes down! All prices quoted are in NZ$ and include GST at the current rate.
Risk and title passes to you at the time of delivery. An order can be cancelled by us at any time until the goods are confirmed as having left our warehouse and at no time are we liable for any compensation for cancelling an order. We will, of course, endeavour to contact you before cancelling an order and any sums paid will, of course, be refunded in full via the original payment method.
Quotations are valid for 30 days barring errors or omissions. Prices are ex-warehouse and an additional freight component will be charged if delivery is required.
We sell predominantly from stock and it is shown on the item’s description whether it is in stock or not. If an item is listed as ‘pre-order’ please contact us if you wish to confirm availability & delivery times.
While we make every effort to maintain sufficient stock, at times items sell out or delivery delays occur beyond our control. Should the item you ordered not be in stock we will contact you to advise when the item will be available. You have the option to cancel your order should this occur and we will refund your payment. We waive any liability in the case of inventory shortages.
We ship all orders as soon as possible and our carriers will work with you to arrange a suitable delivery time for both parties. If after organising delivery you are unable to accept a delivery date / time or refuse delivery, you agree to pay any re-delivery charges before a subsequent delivery is arranged.
If you are not able to accept delivery on the arranged date/time you must give the delivery firm reasonable prior notice that the delivery date/time is no longer suitable. If there is a safe place for the items to be left or a neighbour can take them in for you, the carrier will need to know.
Where access is unduly difficult or, in the opinion of the delivery driver, dangerous, we reserve the right to deliver to the closest practical access point, when the items will be deemed to have been delivered correctly. Please ensure that you have suitable access, especially for large items.
PRE-ORDER/OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
If an item is listed as 'Pre-Order' or 'Out of Stock' it may still be possible to place an order, and the item will be placed on back-order and shipped as soon as it arrives. Please be aware payment will be taken at the time the order is placed, if you wish to confirm lead times then please contact us and we will advise further. If you are unable to wait for an item, we can advise of alternatives to consider.
Orders must be paid for in full at the time of ordering. Our preferred method of payment is by direct bank deposit, but you may pay by Master Card or Visa either online, over the phone or in store including with Qcard. The buyer warrants that he/she is the owner of the card/account used to make payment. We require clearance of all funds before goods are dispatched.
Long term finance deals are available in-store through Qcard but may not be available in conjunction with discounts or any other promotions. Please ask in-store for further details.
A non-refundable 30% deposit is required for special or non-stock products, with the balance due prior to the release of the goods.
CANCELLATION, RETURNS, AND REFUNDS
You have the right to cancel the contract at any time prior to the goods being dispatched, or in the case of a special or non-stock item, prior to us having placed an order with our manufacturer.
To do this, you must give written notice to us by email, giving full details of the item(s) in question and make a clear statement that you wish to cancel the contract.
We will refund you in full by way of direct credit to your nominated bank account.
Returns & Exchanges – Damaged or Faulty Goods:
Please check your purchase for transit damage before the carrier leaves, as inspection of products is required on delivery. Any damage must be noted on the delivery docket presented to you by the carrier for signature. Notification of any damage/refusal of acceptance of delivery to us is required within 24 hours. We can not hold carriers responsible for any transit damage unless this is noted on the delivery docket and they are notified within the time period specified above.
Please further examine your purchases as soon as possible after unpacking them, and if you believe any of the item/s to be faulty then inform us via email with photos of the issue. Please retain any packaging until you've inspected your item/s and are 100% happy with them.
Goods that are agreed to be faulty or damaged can either be exchanged or returned for a full refund. We will make arrangements for the exchange/collection of goods at our own expense. Goods must be re-boxed for return, it is not possible to return/exchange goods without the cardboard boxes as the carriers will refuse collection.
We provide a lifetime guarantee on materials and workmanship for all our genuine Besp-Oak products. Warranties are not transferable and apply only to the original purchaser. Fair wear and tear is excepted. At our sole discretion, we may repair or replace any faulty item.
